We had a lot of fun learning about

THE GREAT AMERICAN COWBOY

with our student teacher, Mrs. Adams!

"Cowboys get to rope cattle and they

also get to camp in the desert. They

get to ride their horses on the

ranches. "

I think they wear belts with silver

the horse and make it go faster. It doesn't

hurt because the horse has a strong coat."

ride right in front of another cowboy or

cowgirl because their horse would kick

dust in the next horse's face...and the

horse would go wild!"

cowboys kick the bull so it will go.

The bull bucks up and down fast.

The cowboys try to stay on but

sometimes they fall off. "

ride horses. They ride their horses

their hat as a fan to cool them
